Innovations in ownership for food & farming
Description
The session will explore how different ownership models can play an important role in reimagining our food system. We will hear about the latest research from the Community Supported Agriculture Network as part of the Family Farm Succession Partnership Project. Charlotte Hollins from Fordhall Community Land Initiative, will share her experience and insights from the first community owned farm in the country here in North Shropshire and supporting our host farm which is currently in the process of becoming part community owned. From a different angle, Pete Russell, founding director of Ooooby will share the latest on their journey on moving towards a steward ownership model for the business and we'll look at opportunities and challenges for the sector.
