A future for horticulture

Rebecca Laughton from Land Workers Alliance will elaborate on the vision, outlined in the "Horticulture across Four Nations" report, for a market garden renaissance to boost UK vegetable production. With the new government facing significant budgetary, health and environmental challenges, Rebecca will outline the potential for a bold, joined up UK horticulture strategy to secure our domestic fruit and vegetable supply, improve public health, generate local economic vitality and mitigate climate change and biodiversity loss. She will draw upon her experience of running a horticulture ELMS Trial, Growing the Goods and campaigning on horticulture issues over the last six years.
